These terms govern your use of the game Bellguard: Kingdom Defense ("the Game") published on Google Play by Vincent Cheng ("we", "us"). By installing or playing the Game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. Purchases require a Google account in good standing and, where applicable, the consent of the account holder.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the Game on Android devices that you own or control, for your own entertainment. You may not copy, modify, decompile, resell, rent or distribute the Game or its art, music and text, or use them to create derivative works, except where the law expressly allows it.

3. Virtual items and currency

Lives, gold, spells (including the Hidden Bomb), stars, VIP perks and other in-game content are virtual items licensed to you for use inside the Game. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to other people, and may be changed, rebalanced or removed as the Game evolves. Game progress is stored on your device; we cannot restore progress that is lost when a device is reset or the Game is uninstalled.

4. Purchases

• Remove Ads is a one-time purchase tied to the Google account used to buy it. If you reinstall the Game, use Restore purchases in Settings.
• Lives refill is a consumable: the lives are granted once Google Play confirms the purchase and the item is then used up.
• VIP is a monthly subscription. It is billed to your Google Play payment method at the price shown in Google Play before you confirm, and it renews automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel at any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and VIP perks remain until then. Google notifies you in advance of any price change.

All purchases are processed by Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service. Prices include applicable taxes where required.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled through Google Play according to the Google Play refund policy. Request a refund in your Google Play order history; if you need help, email us at [email protected] with the order number and we will do what we can.

6. Advertising

The Game is funded by ads served by Google AdMob. Rewarded ads grant a bonus only when the ad completes as reported by the ad network. Ad availability is not guaranteed, and a bonus is not owed when no ad can be loaded. See our Privacy Policy for how ads use your data.

7. Leaderboards and fair play

Leaderboards are provided through Google Play Games Services and are optional. You agree not to tamper with the Game, its save data or its network traffic, and not to use automation, cheats or modified builds to submit scores. We may remove scores or report accounts to Google that appear to be manipulated.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue the Game or any feature at any time, including levels, balance, prices and the availability of purchases, and we may require updates to keep playing. We will try to give reasonable notice of changes that remove paid features.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Game will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost progress or lost virtual items, arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Game is limited to the amount you paid us through Google Play in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including statutory consumer rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these terms. Sections 3, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Taipei have jurisdiction over disputes, unless the consumer protection law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim at home.
