Bellguard: Kingdom Defense for Android (package com.vincentcheng.towerdefence) · Developer: Vincent Cheng, Taiwan · Last updated: 20 October 2026

1. Summary

2. Data stored on your device

The game keeps a small settings file on your phone with your campaign progress, star ratings, remaining lives and their refill timer, music and sound settings, and whether you own Remove Ads or an active VIP subscription. This file never leaves your device through the game. If you have Android's automatic backup switched on, Android may include it in the backup of your apps in your own Google Drive; that backup is controlled by you in your Android settings.

When you share a victory card, the game draws the picture on your device and hands it to the app you choose through Android's share sheet. Nothing is uploaded by the game itself.

We never collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, location, microphone or camera data.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Bellguard shows interstitial ads between levels and rewarded video ads that you can choose to watch for an in-game bonus. Ads are delivered by the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob), a service of Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect:

Where you have allowed it, Google uses this data to show personalised ads; otherwise ads are non-personalised or limited. Google explains its processing in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can review and change your Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.

Rewarded ads are only played when you tap the button that offers them. Buying Remove Ads or VIP removes the interstitial ads between levels; rewarded ads stay available because you request them yourself.

4. Your advertising choices

5. In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)

The game offers Remove Ads (one-time purchase), Lives refill (consumable) and VIP (monthly subscription). All payments are processed by Google Play; we never see or store your card, bank or billing address details. The game receives only the product identifier, the purchase state and a purchase token from Google, which it uses to unlock what you bought and to confirm the purchase to Google. Your order history, receipts and subscription controls live in your Google account under Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.

6. Google Play Games Services (optional)

You can sign in with Google Play Games to appear on four leaderboards (campaign stars, Hell stars, Endless depth and Endless score). Signing in is optional; the game plays fully without it. When you are signed in, Google processes your Play Games player ID, your gamer name and avatar, and the scores the game submits, in order to display the leaderboards. The game does not store this information itself. You can sign out, change your gamer profile or delete your Play Games data in the Google Play Games app settings or at myaccount.google.com. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

7. Permissions

Bellguard requests only the Internet permission, which is needed to load ads, complete purchases and update leaderboards. It does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, notification or any other permission, and it does not use motion sensors.

8. Children

Bellguard is not directed at children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. The game carries an age rating assigned through the IARC system in Google Play. If you believe a child has provided personal data through a Google service connected to the game, please contact us and we will help you have it removed.

10. Security

All communication between the game and Google services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). As the game stores no personal data on servers of ours, there is no server-side database that could be breached.

For players in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: personalised advertising is based on your consent; non-personalised advertising, purchases and leaderboards are based on the performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in offering a free, ad-supported game. The Google services named above may process data in the United States and other countries under Google's safeguards, as described in Google's privacy policy. You have the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data and to object or withdraw consent; because the data is processed by Google, those rights are exercised through the controls linked in this policy, and we will assist on request.

12. This website

bellguard.daoyidh.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no contact forms. Our web server and the Cloudflare network in front of it keep standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) for a short time for security and troubleshooting.

13. Changes to this policy

When the game gains new features that affect your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be mentioned in the game's store listing or release notes.
