Delete your account
App: Color Bloom (com.vincentcheng.colorbloom) · Developer: Vincent Cheng
Color Bloom works without an account. If you used the online features, the app created an anonymous account for you, optionally linked to your Google account. You can delete it, and everything stored with it, in two ways.
1. In the app (immediate)
- Open My Garden and tap the gear icon (Settings).
- Under Account, tap Delete cloud data & account.
- Confirm with Delete.
The account and all cloud data are removed right away, and the app clears its local data as well.
2. By e-mail
If you can no longer open the app, send an e-mail to [email protected] with the subject Delete my Color Bloom account, from the Google account you linked in the app. We reply within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. An anonymous account that was never linked to Google cannot be identified by e-mail; please use the in-app button for those.
What is deleted
- The account itself (the anonymous id and, if linked, the Google link).
- Cloud colouring progress, your garden, moods and settings.
- Line art made from your photos and any pending uploads.
- Your daily-challenge entries, votes and reports, and your membership in colouring rooms.
What remains, and for how long
- Encrypted server backups are kept for up to 14 days and then overwritten.
- Thumbnails of entries that already appeared on a finished day's wall may remain in storage for up to 30 days; they are no longer listed anywhere.
- Vote totals of finished challenge days stay as anonymous numbers.
- AI palette results are cached under a hash for 30 days and contain no identifiers. Mood text and photos are never stored.
Deleting only part of your data
A photo line art can be deleted in the app from My photos. To remove a single wall entry, e-mail us the day of the challenge and we will take it down.
