Frequently asked
How do I restore the Cat Pass purchase?
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchase. The phone must be online and signed in to the Google account that made the purchase. Google Play keeps the purchase with that account, so it can be restored on a new phone or after a reinstall. If Play says the item is already owned but the video offers still show, restart the app once; the entitlement is re-checked on every launch. The 150 bonus stars are granted only once, with the original purchase.
How do I reset my progress?
Cat Arrows has no reset button, and progress is stored only on your phone. To start over, clear the app's storage under Android Settings → Apps → Cat Arrows → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall and reinstall the app. This also removes stars, items and Daily Challenge trophies, and it cannot be undone. The Cat Pass purchase is not affected; restore it from Settings afterwards.
A cat will not move when I tap it. Is that a bug?
No. A cat only runs when every cell between it and the edge of the board, in the direction it is looking, is empty. If another cat is in the way it stops and tilts its head, and nothing happens. Clear the blocking cat first, or look for a cat that already has a free run. Nappers never move at all; they are obstacles to work around. Spinners turn 90° clockwise on each tap and only run once their new direction is clear.
How do stars and par work?
Every level has a par tap count worked out by the game's solver. Clear the board in par taps or fewer for three stars, within two taps of par (or within 30 %) for two, and anything else for one. A level pays 10, 20 or 30 stars for one, two or three rating stars; replaying a level pays only the improvement over your previous best. The Daily Challenge pays 30 stars and each Endless board pays 5.
How does the Daily Challenge work?
Every calendar day (by your phone's local date) there is one 8×8 board that uses every mechanic, the same for everyone in the world. Finishing it earns a trophy and 30 stars. Finish it on consecutive days to grow your streak; miss a day and the streak starts again at one. A new board appears at midnight; an unfinished one is not carried over.
Is every level really solvable?
Yes. All 200 campaign levels, the daily boards and the Endless boards are built in reverse, by adding cats so that a clearing order is known to exist, and then re-solved to confirm it and to compute the par. If you are stuck, tap Hint: it highlights a cat that can leave right now. Find a way numbers the next three cats.
What do Hint and Find a way cost?
Each costs 200 stars in the Shop. If you own a Hint or Find item from the daily gift pack, it is used first; with no items and too few stars, the game offers a short rewarded video instead. Rewarded videos only play when you tap to watch one; Cat Arrows never shows interstitials or any other forced ad.
What does the Cat Pass include?
The Cat Pass is a single one-time purchase. It turns off all video offers (the app then loads no ads at all), adds 150 stars once, and unlocks the Ninja cat skin, which you can switch on and off under Settings.
Does the game work offline?
Yes, completely: levels, the Daily Challenge, Endless, hints and the Shop all work without a network. Only rewarded videos, the consent form and the Cat Pass purchase need a connection.
How do I change the language or theme?
Open Settings. The language picker overrides your phone's language for this app only; the theme switch chooses light or dark.
How do I delete my data?
Everything the app stores is on your phone: uninstall Cat Arrows or clear its storage. See the privacy policy for what Google AdMob and Google Play hold on their side.
