Cat Arrows is a tap-puzzle game that works completely offline. It has no account, no sign-in and no leaderboards, and the app itself never uploads anything. This page explains what the app stores on your device, what the advertising and billing libraries from Google process, and how to reach us. Developer: Vincent Cheng.
What the app stores on your device
Cat Arrows keeps your level progress and star ratings, Daily Challenge trophies and streak, stars, Hint and "Find a way" items, the state of the Cat Pass purchase, and your settings (language, theme, sound, cat skin) in one preferences file on your device. This data never leaves the device through the app. If you have Android backup switched on, Android may include this file in your device backup, like the data of any other app.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Cat Arrows is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. The only ad format is the rewarded video that you choose to watch for a hint, a find, free stars or the daily gift pack; there are no interstitial ads, no banners and no ads that play on their own. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information and ad-interaction data, and share them with Google and its advertising partners. How Google uses this data is described in Google's privacy policy and in the list of AdMob ad technology providers. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation in Android Settings → Google → Ads. Buying the Cat Pass turns off the video offers; while you own it the app loads no ads at all.
Consent (Google User Messaging Platform)
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app shows a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform before loading any ad. You can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy options in the app.
In-app purchase (Google Play Billing)
The only purchase, the Cat Pass (product cat_pass: no ads, a one-time bonus of 150 stars and the Ninja cat skin), is processed by Google Play. The app receives only whether the purchase is owned, never your payment details. Google Play keeps the purchase record under its own privacy policy. "Restore purchase" in Settings asks Google Play for that record again.
What the app does not do
- No analytics and no crash-reporting SDK.
- No access to camera, microphone, contacts, photos or location.
- No account, no sign-in, no leaderboards, no sale of data.
- The Internet permission is used only by the ads, consent and billing libraries above.
Children
Cat Arrows is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed at children. If you are under 13, please do not use the app.
Deleting your data
Everything the app itself holds is on your device. Uninstalling Cat Arrows, or clearing its storage under Android Settings → Apps → Cat Arrows, deletes it completely. Progress is not stored anywhere else and cannot be recovered afterwards; the Cat Pass purchase stays with your Google account and can be restored. For data held by Google (advertising ID, purchase records), use Google's own controls or contact Google.
Changes and contact
