How to play

• Tap a basket to pick up the cats on top, then tap another basket to drop them there.
• Cats can only land in an empty basket or on a cat of the same fur color.
• Fill every basket with cats of one color to clear the level. Breeds look different, but only fur color matters.

Frequently asked questions

Is Purr Sort free?

Yes. Every level is free to play. Optional rewarded videos give you extra stars, and an optional one-time purchase, the Comfort Pack, gives you those rewards without ads, unlimited free undo and bonus stars.

When do ads appear?

Only when you choose to watch one: Watch ad: ×2 stars after a level doubles the stars you won, and the Shop offers a few ads a day for bonus stars. There are no pop-up or banner ads.

What are stars for?

You earn up to three stars on every level: the fewer moves, the more stars. A hint costs 20 stars, and after the first three free undos on a level, each undo costs 5 stars.

What are chilly cats, small baskets and box cats?

• Chilly cats can't move. Drop a cat of the same color on one to warm it up.
• Small baskets hold two cats and must be empty to finish the level.
• Box cats keep their color secret. Move the cats above a box and it pops open.

I'm stuck. What can I do?

Tap Undo to take back a move, Hint to see the best next move, or Restart to try the level again. Every level has been checked by a solver, so it can always be solved.

I bought the Comfort Pack. How do I get it back after reinstalling or on a new phone?

Sign in to Google Play with the same Google account you bought it with, open Settings in the game and tap Restore purchases. Restoring needs an internet connection.

Will I lose my progress if I reinstall or change phones?

Progress is saved on your phone. If Android backup is on, Android can copy it to your Google account and restore it when you install the game on a phone signed in to the same account. The game has no accounts or cloud save, so we cannot recover progress for you.

Can I play offline?

Yes. The whole game works without a connection. Only ads and purchases need the internet.

What is the Daily Cat?

A new puzzle every day. Solve it for 50 bonus stars and keep your streak going.

How do I change the language?

Open Settings and choose a language: English, 繁體中文, 简体中文, 日本語 or 한국어, or follow your device's language.

How do I delete my data?

Clear the app's storage in Settings → Apps → Purr Sort → Storage, or uninstall the game. The privacy policy explains backup copies and advertising data.
